John Travolta's latest film "Gotti" scores 0% on Rotten Tomatoes
We live in increasingly dividing and polarising times, however it appears that there's something which everyone seems to agree on: that Gotti is terrible. The film has scored zero on the review aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes.
John Travolta's latest film has him portraying New York City Gambino crime family mobster John Gotti and his rise in the criminal world. The rights to produce a film on Gotti's life were acquired in 2010 but since then a handful of directors and producers have come and gone. Eventually the film was directed by Kevin Connolly.
Selected excerpts from reviews include:
"I’d rather wake up next to a severed horse head than ever watch 'Gotti' again." - NY Post
"He may have been a murderer, but even Gotti deserved better than this." - RogerEbert.com
"That the long-gestating crime drama 'Gotti' is a dismal mess comes as no surprise. What does shock is just how multifaceted a dismal mess it is." - NY Times
This is not the only of Travolta's films to score 0% on Rotten Tomatoes, his 1993 comedy sequel Look Who's Talking Now also holds 0% on the website.
